Read the label

So you have probably heard the expression "Cheap stuff is expensive" right?

Well most of the time, when you buy something cheap, you end up buying it again, or in the end buying a more expensive version. The same goes for essential oils. Sure, they have them is all sizes and prices, but do you know what you are buying?

I have seen essential oils in several types of stores such as a drugstore, supermarket, office supplies store for much cheaper than I purchase then. So when I first started this journey, this was actually something the frustrated me. Why am I paying so much for a product that I can buy locally for a fraction of the price.

So here's the deal:

The FDA (in the USA) only requires an Essential Oil that is sold in these "other" locations to contain 5% of the actual oil. Meaning, the other 95% are either fillers or synthetics. Store bought essential oils are diluted and may not be safe to apply topically and definitely not recommended to ingest.

Young Living oils are 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils and are farmed on organic non-gmo land. Young Living, together with all their partners must meet the highest standards in:

  • Authentication

  • Agricultural Practices

  • Harvesting & Collection

  • Extraction & Distillation

  • Testing

  • Traceability

  • Storage

  • Bottling

You can read more about the seed-to-seal promise on seedtoseal.com

Most of the products sold here are imported from the USA. So read the label, find out where the product is coming from, what the production process was and how it is bottled. If you can't find it on the label, it is probably not 100% pure.

Please read more on this matter and get the right stuff the first time.
